At the Henry Moore Foundation, located in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, one of the galleries experienced a significant issue with runoff water originating from the roof. The gutter in question had not been positioned correctly, resulting in rainwater spilling over the edges of the gutter instead of properly draining into it. Over many years, this consistent overflow caused water to splash back onto the oak frame of the conservatory, leading to noticeable damage as the window sills and lower parts of the frame began to rot. Our job involved carefully replacing the damaged sections of the oak and installing new gutter fittings, ensuring that this issue would not occur again in the future..
